BE OUR GUEST!
The best way to experience Carson-Newman University is to see it and meet the people who know the university best—students, faculty, and staff. Request a campus visit today!
Request Individual Campus Visit
The Office of Admissions schedules individual campus visits each week throughout the year.
During a private visit you can:
Meet your personal Admissions Representative, your Financial Assistance Counselor, faculty member, or coach. You can take a campus tour with one of our current C-N students and have lunch in the cafeteria. If you visit while classes are in session, we can also arrange for you to attend a class in the area of your academic interest.
For the best service, please request an individual campus visit at least 5-7 business days in advance. Individual appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday around the morning or afternoon campus tours (except holidays).
We are excited to announce that we have created a brand new visit opportunity called Eagle Preview Day!
At this event, students will have the opportunity to see what a chapel service is like at Carson-Newman, sit in on a class of their choosing, eat lunch in our cafeteria, go on a campus tour with a current student, participate in our departmental/student organization fair, and have the chance to visit our Residence Halls!
Homeschool Day — November 8, 2024
We are excited to announce that registration is now live for our first annual Homeschool Day!
This event is designed to display how Carson-Newman is committed to helping our students reach their full potential as educated students and worldwide servant leaders. This event will defer from our normal Preview Days in that the conversations and activities will be geared towards homeschool students and their families.
Students will have the opportunity to see what a chapel service is like at Carson-Newman, attend a class of their choosing, eat lunch in our cafeteria, go on a campus tour with a current student, and visit our Residence Halls.
In addition to these events, Homeschool students will attend a student/faculty panel that will be comprised of current C-N students who come from a homeschooling background and faculty who have a passion for the Classical Learning curriculum. Students will also learn more about our prestigious INSIGNIS Academic Scholarship Weekend, Honors program, and Study Abroad opportunities at Carson-Newman.
Spaces are limited, so please register today at the link below:
Group Visits
We welcome many groups to campus throughout the year, from high schools to community-based educational organizations. Groups will experience a Carson-Newman student-led campus tour and an information session with an Admissions Representative.
Groups of high school students, along with chaperones, may request a group visit Monday-Friday throughout the year, based on space and staff availability. Holidays and other campus closure dates will not be available.
In order to provide a great visit experience, we limit group visits to students of high school age. Also, please request your group visit at least 2-3 weeks in advance of your visit date.
To reserve an on-campus visit for your group, please email us at visit@honornm.com with the following information.
- Group name
- Age range of attendees
- Group contact information (email and phone number)
- Number of attendees
- Desired date of visit
We will do our best to accommodate your desired visit date. We look forward to working with you to schedule your visit!
